Welcome to the launch of Irish Baby Names Plus! Right now I have about 400 of the Anglicized versions of the Irish baby names up. I have a much, much lager group of the original Gaelic names, I just have to replace some of the letters with ASCII character codes to make them display correctly for everyone. I figured it would be best to put up the list of Irish baby names I already had done rather than wait for who knows how long until I got 2000 Gaelic Irish baby names properly sorted out character-wise. I'm also working on a longer, more accurate origin as well as history for each of the Irish baby names to flesh things out a little. If I get the time maybe I'll even do a little write up about the Gaelic language and the differences between the different dialects. Maybe not though since most of you would be coming here for Irish baby names and not write ups about the differences between Goidelic and Brythonic. Who knows though, maybe some of you would enjoy it. Anyway, Enjoy the Irish baby names we already have, and try to stop back in as I add more.
